FMU-IAEA国際学術会議～放射線と健康と住民：多角的視点による福島の震災復興～
2014年7月25日（金）～27日（日）の3日間、福島県立医科大学（FMU）と国際原子力機関（IAEA）の主催でFMU-IAEA国際学術会議～放射線と健康と住民：多角的視点による福島の震災復興～がFMUにおいて開催されました。
2011年の東日本大震災以降、弊社が運営に携わらせて頂いた”原子力安全に関する福島閣僚会議”（主催：外務省、共催：IAEA）やその他の国際会議が福島において毎年開催されております。
今回の学術会議には世界15ヶ国から研究者や学生延べ100人にご参加頂き、3日間活発な議論と意見交換がなされました。
また、FMUの学生とマウントサイナイ医科大学（ニューヨーク）の学生たちによるパネルディスカッションの時間も設けられ、研究者たちからはどのようにこれから災害対策をしていく必要があるのかとの問題提起がなされ、白熱した討論の時間となりました。
今後もFMUとIAEAの連携協力に少しでもお役に立てる事を願っております。
The FMU-IAEA International Academic Conference, “Radiation, Health, and Population: The Multiple Dimensions of Post-Fukushima Disaster Recovery” was held from 25th to 27th July 2014 at Fukushima Medical University.
Various conferences have been held in Fukushima since the Great East Japan Earthquake as knows as the 3.11.
FMU welcomed about 100 researchers and students from fifteen different countries and active discussions were held for three days with them.
During the conference, a special session for students from both FMU and Mount Sinai School of Medicine was held. The session addressed important issues and problems related to disaster recovery raised by other researchers, and I am certain that it was such a meaningful time for all attendees.
I hope to see FMU and IAEA deepening their relationship and cooperation more and more, and this kind of academic conference will be held not only for researchers but also for citizens in the near future.
